If an old school Mumford and Sons met up with a stripped down version of Taylor Swift: that would best describe Joey's new sound. After many years of touring between the west coast of Canada, Europe and the UK she has finally settled permanently in London, where she is now based.
When not performing, Joey can be found behind the scenes working as the social media manager for the Americana Music Association UK, teaching music at West Drayton Academy, and has recently co-founded a new company Gigs For Schools that focuses on bringing professional contemporary musicians into classrooms across the UK and Ireland to musically inspire pupils; providing children with high quality musical experiences, and creating new paid opportunities for musicians to perform their original works to captivated audiences. Joey is currently in the midst of recording a new album with musicians from the HM Forces Band of the Scots Guards, and is looking forward to releasing it later this year."
